Aggressive Raccoon

At least three residents saw an aggressive raccoon near Midhill and Hopewood on Thursday afternoon. It approached them, and was last seen behind the parking lot opposite Rosecroft. It most likely is rabid. Fairfax County Animal Control was called but could not find the animal. Please do not approach any raccoons or wildlife.
